For business owners running their own businesses, anyone looking to make a long term career in catering within licensed hospitality and for those responsible for managing a commercial catering kitchen.

course delivery - This course is usually delivered in-house although open courses will be scheduled if there is sufficient demand.

duration - 3 days

course overview - The Award in Kitchen Management covers all aspects of managing a catering operation including people, administration, the kitchen environment and the wider market and the opportunities that this presents. This course combines completion of a work-based workbook with two tutor-led sessions arranged to suit candidates. Topics covered are:

assessment - This course is assessed by a 1 hour exam consisting of 8 scenario based questions

qualification - Successful candidates will receive the BIIAB Level 3 Award in Kitchen Management

course fee - This course is usually delivered in-house although open courses can be arranged if there is sufficient demand. In house courses are charged at a day rate plus a fee per person.. Fees vary according to venue.
